Olivia Shaffer

Biography

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Olivia Shaffer attended the University of Kansas where she worked as a student Office Assistant at the Center for Global and International Studies. She graduated in 2020 with a B.A. in Global Studies and Gender Studies. After graduation, Shaffer spent the 2020-2021 academic year teaching English on the French island of La Reunion through the TAPIF program. Olivia joined the Oden Institute in August 2021 as the front desk Administrative Assistant. After spending 9 months in Madagascar as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, Olivia began her graduate studies at the LBJ School in August 2023. She also returned to the Oden Institute as a Senior Student Associate.
